Because we get better…

September is Recovery Awareness Month. Join us for this free and family-friendly festival celebrating life in recovery!

This event is presented by The Connection, a non-profit addiction recovery support center in Forsyth County Georgia, providing free peer support and educational services to people in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.

The opposite of addiction is not sobriety,
it’s connection.

We believe only peers with shared experience can truly understand the pain of addiction and the hope of recovery. We walk alongside one another, lean on one another and celebrate our recovery out loud.

By sharing these stories of hope and recovery, we begin to address the stigma of addiction.

Millions of people in recovery

Nationwide, recovery is booming. The recent Sober Curious movement is driving this number higher each and every day.
